This surface high pressure will continue to heat us up each afternoon, with higher heat index values lifting near the century mark. The forecast for the high school football games tonight, albeit a little warm, but not as warm as last week. Temperatures at kickoff will be close to 90° with temperatures falling off into the low to mid 80s by the end of the game. Tomorrow's college games will have a chance of rain or storms all across the southeast including Arkansas v. Auburn, Clemson v. Georgia, and Alabama v. West Virginia at the Georgia Dome.
