Community Focused Paintball Opening in South Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ga - Ballistic Paintball and Fun Park will be opening in South Columbus soon.

Gadget Jackson told News 3 his main focus for opening Ballistic was to provide something different, and safe for the community.

"The murder rate was extremely high last year," Jackson said, "and I feel with all the shooting that's been going on at least this way you'll be able to shoot and get a chance to go home at night."

In addition to paintball, Jackson will offer Go-Karts, Laser tag, an obstacle course, and an after school program. The after school program will be focused on life skills, and include lessons on farming and cooking.

You will need to be at least eight years old to participate in paintball and must have your permit or license to drive a go-kart, according to Jackson.

Ballistic Paintball is scheduled to open on Saint Patrick's Day.
