Our Kitchen: Apple Tart


  • 3 Apples
  • Sugar
  • Pie Crust
  • Egg
  • Water
  • Apricot Preserve


  1. Peel and core apples
  2. You can use a melon baller to get the seeds out
  3. Cut apple pieces into slices
  4. Put apple slices in bowl and add sugar
  5. Put pie crust in dish appropriate for a tart, add apple slices, and sprinkle more sugar.   If you don't have a dish appropriate for a tart, you can make a roasted tart on a flat cookie sheet. You can use pre-made pie crust or make your own if you prefer.
  6. Fold pie crust over the edges  
  7. Brush egg wash composed of a beaten egg and a little bit of water
  8. Bake in an oven at 425 degrees for about 30 minutes
  9. Heat up apple preserve and drizzle over dish
  10. Eat and enoy!
