COLUMBUS, Ga. - This week's Kinetic Credit Union Golden Apple award winner is said to be very encouraging as a teacher.

She is Dorothy Heights Elementary fourth grade teacher Donna Thomas who accepted the honor from News 3's Carlos Williams.

Thomas says she loves her students and finds teaching to be very rewarding.
