VALDOSTA, GA--We're kicking off another week of Daytrippin' here at News 3, and we have some new hotspots for you.

We traveled to Valdosta, Georgia, where playing with animals has a completely different meaning.

“We cater to the family. We have something for everyone here,” said park vice president Steve Honeycutt.

Whether you like riding the coasters...taking a dip in the water....or yes...even getting up close to exotic animals...you can find it all here.

“We have a lot of exciting activities for our younger guests. We have a new show called veggie tales with Larry and Bob and there's a lot of interaction with the kids,” he said.

The bottom line, if you want fun, family, friends...and some thrills....you might want to add Wild Adventures to your summer schedule.

“They can come to a place where they can forget about the troubles for the day and really have a good time for the family together,” he said.
