Phil Scoggins - Anchor

A veteran of the broadcast industry, his wealth of experience spans over 25 years. Phil Scoggins anchors News 3's weekly 6 and 11pm newscasts. A 1974 cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia, Scoggins launched his commercial broadcasting career while still in college. During the early years of his profession, Scoggins served as Sports Director for WRBL. He later assumed the position of Marketing Manager for Callaway Gardens. In 1988, he opened his own corporate video production company. Scoggins and his wife, Judy, have three children and four grandchildren. Scoggins attends Evangel Temple Assembly of God in Columbus, Georgia.
