Kelly O'Connell - Reporter

Kelly came all the way from Minnesota to start her reporting career here at WRBL News 3. She was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a double major in broadcast journalism and Spanish. While in college, she was an active member in her sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma. She also loved going to Big Ten football and hockey games and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. During school, Kelly interned at the CBS and NBC affiliate stations in the Twin Cities. One summer, Kelly interned at KIMT in Mason City, Iowa, where she had her first on air reporting experience. On her days off Kelly likes exercising, being outside, traveling, and reading. Kelly is looking forward to getting out in the community to meet the wonderful people of western Georgia and East Alabama. She loves meeting new people and is excited to experience the southern way of life and the generosity and friendliness of the people.
