As gas prices continue to climb, many families are cutting back on unneeded expenses.
We're on your side with how you can save money.
State Treasurer Kay Ivey is reminding Alabamians about some energy saving tips on the Treasury website.
Ivey says drive wisely. You can use up to 33 percent more gas driving aggressively.
Keep it at 60 miles per hour, go any faster and it could cost you.
Keep it tuned up. Replacing dirty filters and improving your car's emission could give your better gas mileage and less trips to the pump.
