But Shannon says that is what happens when you have five kids. She says her husband was a little worried about the early mornings and chaos.
“He didn't think I could do it and I said watch I'm going show you, and I did.”
But there wasn't too much he could do about. Shannon's husband has been deployed since March 2007. That left her with five kids, eight classes this semester and one crazy schedule.
When you ask Shannon's little boy about her big night he is excited but he isn't sure exactly why.
News Three asked Shannon’s young son what grade his mom just graduated from. He wasn’t so sure.
But Shannon knows there are plenty of people proud of her.
She says, “It just makes me feel like I can do anything.”
