This is a story from our media partner, the Dothan Eagle.
In all, three buses were on their way to Panama City. They were traveling from Kentucky, when one of the buses collided with a pickup truck in Dothan Sunday.
23 people were hurt in the accident. An 11-year-old in the pickup died. He was identified as Rippin Upton of Columbus. A nine-year-old child is in critical condition, and the driver of the pickup is listed as stable.
Police say the truck veered into the bus' path in the southbound lane.
