The Columbus Lions of the AIFA is announcing the following times and dates for the 2008 season. If you are interested in trying out for the team you have two chances to do so. The first tryout will be held on October 20th at the Memorial Stadium next to the Columbus Civic Center. The day long session will begin with registration at 10 a.m. The second session will be held on December 15th at Callaway Stadium in Lagrange, Georgia and will begin at 10 a.m. There is a $55. registration fee to tryout.News 3 On Your Side

Stumble It!The Columbus Lions head coach and his staff will be on hand at both camps to evaluate players. Participants will be tested in the 40-yard dash, the 20-yard short shuttle and a variety of team and individual drills by position. Players are asked to wear cleats and dress appropriately.
