Organizers of Columbus State University's 50th Anniversary Celebration have alternate plans for Friday night's concert. Due to expected weather, the concert, will be moved to the Lumpkin Center at CSU. The concert is free and features the Swingin' Medallions. As for the fireworks show that had been scheduled for after the concert, that has been changed to Saturday night. It will be held in Uptown Columbus on Broadway. The fireworks show should begin around 8:30 p.m. and originate from Woodruff Park between the Chattahoochee River and CSU's art and theatre complex. For more on the weekend's events, click here.
