You now have another option when it comes to filing a complaint against a licensed care facility in Georgia.
The Department of Human Resources has announced its online complaint service.
Through the DHR website, you can file a complaint against primary health care facilities, long-term care facilities, and child care programs.
The department's Office of Regulatory Services (ORS) monitors, inspects, and licenses those businesses.
In order to file a complaint you must know the name, address, and type of facility. You must also provide your own name, address, and telephone number. Finally, you'll need a brief description of your complaint.
To file a complaint, log on to the Regulatory Complaint website.
