A group of girls came together today to learn about the importance of education, with the help from some local celebrities. News 3 On Your Side

Stumble It!Sixth, seventh and eight graders from East Columbus Magnet Academy in Columbus had an eventful afternoon of girl talk.
The school, along with the radio station Foxy 105, put on a girls power rally today.
Girls heard from female disk jockeys about the importance of staying in school and pursuing a career, and learning a very important message at the same time.
“About how we should feel beautiful about ourselves and how we shouldn't let anybody bring us down,” says Alexzandrea Gant.
The school and the radio station put on the all girls meeting twice a year.
But the boys aren't left out entirely; they have their own meeting with male disc jockeys as well.
