The Rosemont Head Start in Columbus received 2,200 books from Barnes and Noble Wednesday morning.
The store has been collecting books since November first for Head Start.
The books will be distributed amongst the ten Head Start centers throughout the area.
The students welcomed the gifts with plenty of music and smiles
“To receive over 2,200 books, just amazing for us, we are overjoyed to receive that amount of books,” says Head Start Director Teresa Johnson.
Some of the kids will also be able to take the books home with them.
Each Head Start center is expected to add about 200 new books to their collection through this donation.
