Two masked men barged into Millie’s International Market just after 11 AM Friday morning. News 3 On Your Side
Investigators are interviewing one person of interest in the case. Police are still searching for one other suspect they say could possibly still be in the area.
Lefty Encarnacion owns Millie’s International Market.
Earlier today he told News Three, “When I ran out of my office I was confronted by two armed robbers, one of them struck me in the face and demanded money.”
Money that the two masked men took.
Police say a cook at Millie's was shot in the face as he tried to run out of the building.
This is fourth time Encarnacion's business has been hit. He says he has lost thousands of dollars.
News Three talked to him after a burglary in February. He told us then he would hold his ground. “You say to yourself, you've come too far now, I can't stop its just one little burglary, you just clean up the mess which I did, and I keep going>
But today's shooting may have been one mess too many.
Earlier today Encarnacion told News Three, “I will take some offers now to sell out.”
