She' talking about Jacqueline Davis, or Joshua's mom.

“She take a lot of time with the kids and you can see the love in her classroom,” says parent Jacqueline Davis.
Mrs. Monroe definitely does love her students and wants them to love school.

“Because she is a good teacher and I think she won this award because she is a good teacher and she learns us things and she reads us books,” says student Ca’Shun Barr.
It's not just vampires and ghosts that get Mrs. Monroe excited.
A golden apple does the trick too.
“Oh, wow, just even more excited and to keep going and find new ways to reach my kids, it’s just a great honor,” Mrs. Monroe.
Mrs. Monroe says she wants her students to develop a love for reading and confidence in writing by the time they graduate from kindergarten.
One way she does that is having the kids close their eyes when she reads them a book to visualize the pictures, then they draw what they saw in their minds.
