COLUMBUS GA--Sunday will mark one year since the murder of two Columbus teens.

Columbus natives Bryan Kilgore and Randy Newton were murdered last summer at the Cross Creek Apartments off Steam Mill Road in Columbus.

The suspect, Michael Registe has been on the run since the murder and police, though they say have gotten close, still haven't captured him.

Registe has been featured on Americas Most Wanted, and is on the international police or INTERPOL’s watch list. Just last month, the FBI held a press conference in Columbus about Registe.

"The FBI and Columbus Police Department are convinced that there are persons who know Registe's whereabouts and have yet to come forward,” said Agent Gerald Green with the FBI at a news conference last month.

The FBI recently raised the reward money to turn Registe in from five to $20 thousand.

If you have any information on the location of Registe, you can call the Columbus Police Department at 706-653-3400.
