Russell County is one step closer to having a new superintendent.News 3 On Your Side

Stumble It!The board decided Tuesday night to approve the contract for Dr. Yvette Richardson of Fairfield, Alabama.
Under the current contract, Richardson's salary would be $120,000 a year.
Contract negotiations are in place to finalize the offer.
Richardson told News Three, she expects it to be completed by the end of this week, and she hopes to start the job in January.
