The Muscogee County Board of Education met tonight to discuss plans for a new building.

The board discussed their plan to finance a new Educational Services Center.

The board voted 5 to 4 to pass the amendment.

That gives the thumbs up for a financing plan to pay for the $20 million dollar building.

The budget still has $13 million dollars for the building and now they need to make up the difference.

The board also passed an amendment to look further and prepare for another SPLOST.

The board agreed to begin to put together a list of things that are needed in the school district and prepare to hold public forums for input.
