Ruth Anne Wilson-Jones is the teacher of the year for Troup County Schools.
Wilson-Jones is a middle school gifted teacher at West Side Magnet.
She has been a teacher for 18 years and was named teacher of the year in 2001 as well.
Wilson-Jones will go on to compete for the Georgia Teacher of the Year, which will be named in January.
