Early voting in Columbus begins Monday, October 29th.

On the ballot is the tax allocation district (TAD) referendum. Voters will decide if the city council has the authority to establish TADs, which are used to stimulate economic development, particularly in underdeveloped and blighted areas.

If you want to cast your ballot early, News 3 is On Your Side with what you need to know.

The polls will be open Monday, October 29, through Friday, November 2.
You can vote at the main library on Macon Road between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. EST, or at the Government Center between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. EST.

The official Election Day is Tuesday, November sixth.
