Alabama Blasts Nicholls State

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Mykal Riley scored 22 points and hit 6-of-8 3-pointers to lead five double-digit scorers in Alabama's 91-53 victory today over Nicholls State.

Alonzo Gee added 20 points and 12 rebounds for the Crimson Tide (5-3), which held a commanding 46-22 rebounding advantage.

Alabama took control with an early 20-2 run during an eight-minute spurt when Nicholls State (2-7) went 0-for-9 from the floor.

It was Alabama's first double-digit victory since a 12-point win over Troy in the opener.
