Milledgeville, GA - For the second week in a row, Columbus State's men's and women's cross-country squads out-distanced the field to take team wins on Saturday. CSU took both the titles at the GCSU Pre-Conference meet in Milledgeville, site of the Peach Belt Championships later this season.

The CSU men posted a team total of 28 points, 14 ahead of second-place Clayton State. Host GCSU was third at 89 points, while North Georgia was fourth at 133, Francis Marion fifth at 147, and Savannah College of Art and Design sixth at 153. Fort Valley State also competed but did not have enough runners for a team score.
