Ashley Houts chipped in with 16 points, Danielle Taylor added nine, and Angela Puelo, Angel Robinson and Rebecca Rowsey had eight apiece. Humphrey’s 14 rebounds equaled her season-high and also moved her into fifth among the Lady Bulldogs’ career leaders with 907, surpassing the previous No. 5 mark set by Christi Thomas.
“It was good to get everybody a few minutes, getting everybody out there and moving around,” head coach Andy Landers said. “I was particularly pleased that we were able to play some zone. I thought the longer we played it, the better it got. We haven’t zoned much this year and that is something we are going to need to do possibly as early as Sunday so it was good to see us get some work there.”
The Lady Bulldogs forced 30 Presbyterian turnovers and held the Blue Hose to just 27.3 percent shooting in the second half.
Georgia scored the first six points of the game and led throughout. The Lady Bulldogs closed the first half on a 24-9 run and held a 52-27 advantage at the break.
Katlin Moore led Presbyterian (1-15) with 15 points, and Bridget Takach chipped in with nine.
