ATLANTA (AP) - The Boston-Atlanta series is proving a lot closer than some people expected. It's tied at two games apiece after the Hawks beat the Celtics 97-92. Joe Johnson scored 35 points, including 20 in the fourth quarter.

The surprising Hawks overcame two double-digit deficits to win. Johnson broke his previous career playoff high of 26 points when he played at Phoenix. Josh Smith added 28 points and seven blocks. Ray Allen led the Celtics with 21 points.

The best-of-seven series heads back to Boston, where the Celtics won the first two games by an average of 21 points. Game 5 is Wednesday night.
