Krywulycz Lands Two Eagles In Final Round

COLUMBUS, Ga. (AP) - Australian Mitch Krywulycz started the final round with an eagle and added another on Number 17 on his way to a four-under-par 68 today that gave him the championship in the 79th Southeastern Amateur championship.

The Augusta State University star had this tournament under control all the way, leading after every round.

After the eagle on the first hole, he said, "That was huge. It started the day off with a more positive attitude. That eagle on 17 sealed it for me."

His 270 total for four rounds at the Country Club of Columbus gave him a five-shot victory over Derek Chang of Alpharetta, Georgia, and defending champion George Bryan IV of Chapin, South Carolina. Bryan closed with a 67, Chang with a 68.

There was a three-way tie for fourth place at 277 among Jay Moseley of Bainbridge, Georgia, Paul Woodbury of Lake City, South Carolina. and Wesley Bryan, George's brother. Moseley had a final round 65, Woodbury a 67 and Wesley Bryan a 70.
