The LaGrange Grangers remained unbeaten Thursday night with a 34-0 win over Kendrick at Kinnett Stadium.

The Grangers overcame a slow start, exchanging fumbles with Kendrick before Jamius Gunsby turned a short swing pass from Granger quarterback Rodney Tolbert into a long touchdown.  Gunsby was stopped near the line of scrimmage by a Cherokee defender, but fought his way out of the tackle to score.

In the 2nd Quarter, the Grangers added another touchdown after Dezmon Lovett scored on a red-zone scamper, giving LaGrange a 14-0 advantage.  LaGrange tacked on a field goal to lead 17-0 at the half.

The win was LaGrange’s fourth straight shutout to open the season.  In wins over Harris County, Columbus, Jordan, and Kendrick, the Grangers outscored the competition 137-0.

The Grangers will return to Kinnett Stadium next Friday to take on Hardaway.
