Late Saturday night, Fay weakened to a tropical depression with winds of 35 mph. Fay is moving to the WNW at 8 mph and is expected to continue in that general direction for the next few days before taking a turn back to the northeast. On Sunday, breezy winds will impact Georgia and Alabama while Fay's moisture will impact both states with flooding potential as well. Showers from the storm could linger throughout Georgia and Alabama until the middle to end of next week.
