Strong, gusty winds and isolated thunderstorms are expected overnight tonight. Sustained winds
of 20 to 30 mph in North Georgia and 15 to 25 mph in Central Georgia. Gusts in excess of 30 mph will be possible...especially
in the higher elevations of the North Georgia mountains. The
strongest winds are expected to accompany a line of showers and
isolated thunderstorms during the evening.
Gusty southerly winds of 20 to 30 mph in advance of the front and equally strong or stronger winds
behind the front overnight. Winds will begin to diminish by daybreak Wednesday.
