A WIND ADVISORY is in effect for East Alabama and West and Central Georgia until 7 PM EST Saturday. Northwest winds of 20 to 25 mph with gusts of 30 to 35 will develop early Saturday and continue into the afternoon. The strongest winds will be found at the higher elevations. A wind advisory means that sustained winds of 20 to 35 mph or wind gusts of at least 35 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult especially for high profile vehicles so extra caution should be exercised.
