An additional severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for Chambers, Macon, Lee, and Russell Counties, AL and Troup, Meriwether, Pike, Harris, Taylor, Talbot, Muscogee, Chattahoochee, Stewart, Schley, Webster, Marion, and Sumter Counties, GA until 9 PM EDT. Severe thunderstorms may develop that are capable of gusty winds, large hail, dangerous lightning, and locally heavy rainfall.
