A tornado watch has been issued until 4 AM EDT for the following counties in Georgia: Chattahoochee, Harris, Marion, Muscogee, Schley, Stewart, Sumter, and Webster and for the following counties in Alabama: Barbour, Bullock, Chambers, Lee, Macon, Pike, and Russell. A tornado watch means that conditions are favorable for the development of tornadoes. Be alert to rapidly changing conditions and to future watches and warnings that may be issued.
