Stumble It!The National Hurricane Center says a warning has been issued for parts of the Texas and Louisiana coasts because of the flooding danger from expected heavy rains.
As of 1 p.m. Central time, the eighth named storm of the Atlantic hurricane season had maximum sustained winds of 45 miles-an-hour and its center was about 70 miles south-southwest of Galveston, Texas. The storm already is dropping rain in Texas and Louisiana.
