14-year-old arrested after making threat to Beulah High School

LEE COUNTY, Ala. - A Lee County 7th grader has been arrested after making terrorist threats.

According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, a tip was made to Beulah High School's administrative staff back on Friday, March 2 about a student making threatening comments pertaining to shooting up the school.

The threat was reported to Lee County School Resource Officers who immediately opened up an investigation.

The investigation did not reveal any verifiable information until Monday, March 6 when evidence was obtained that proved the identification of the person responsible. 

A 14-year-old student was arrested and will be charged with making terrorist threats

The sheriff office says the 7th grade student made specific comments to other students about obtaining a weapon and shooting it while on school property.
