2 missing Ozark children found in Panama City

12:30 P.M. -- The ALEA confirms two missing children from Ozark, Alabama have been found.

A release from Captain Tracy Nelson says 6-year-old Zachariah Omari Snuggs and 15-year-old Taryiez Jackson were found in Panama City where two neighbors had brought them for vacation.

The statement did not specify conditions for the neighbors, 27-year-old Brandon Govan and 44-year-old Sharon Rodriguez, who did not return the children after the planned weekend trip.

11:30 A.M. -- The Ozark Police Department confirms to News 3 new details on the man and woman who have reportedly not returned with their neighbor's two children after a planned vacation.

Police say 6-year-old Zachariah Omari Snuggs and 15-year-old Taryiez Jackson were picked up from their home in Ozark by their neighbors, 27-year-old Brandon Govan and 44-year-old Sharon Rodriguez.

The children's parents had agreed to let Zachariah and Taryiez join Govan, Rodriguez, and their child on a family trip to Panama City Beach. The parents became worried after their children were never returned home and after they were unable to contact anyone on the trip all day Monday.

Police say the child of Govan and Rodriquez is not included in the missing bulletin as that child is technically still with their parents.

The missing alert spans four states as investigators are not clear if the group ever left Panama City, returned to Alabama, or if they could be traveling to places the adults have connections to like Atlanta or North Carolina.
