Woman accused of biting Columbus police officer

COLUMBUS, Ga. - A woman is accused of biting a Columbus police officer and misusing emergency services.

According to a police report, 24-year-old Keosha Williams bit an officer's hand after the officer tried to speak with her about a numerous amount of calls she made to 911 in the past for non-emergencies.

Officials from Piedmont Columbus Regional stated in the report that Williams had been to the hospital over 50 times in 2018 alone.

They say in most of the instances, Williams would walk out prior to any treatment.

Williams is charged with obstruction of an officer, requesting ambulance service when not needed and disorderly contact.
