Clark Atlanta University student found shot to death in townhome

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. (AP) -- Authorities say a Clark Atlanta University student has been found shot to death inside a suburban Atlanta home.

Media outlets report that 25-year-old Cierra Ford was discovered dead inside a Sandy Springs townhome Friday.

Her boyfriend, 21-year-old Tyrique Lobban, was also found shot inside the home. Lobban was taken to the hospital, where he was listed in critical, but stable condition.

Police believe the shooting was the result of a robbery.

Ford's family says she studied communications at Clark Atlanta University. Her brother, Clarence Ford, says his sister was an innocent victim and that she was at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective W. Johnson at 770-551-3314 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS.
