ONLY ON 3: House Speaker Paul Ryan meets with local business leaders at TSYS

COLUMBUS, Ga (WRBL) - Cyle Mims, with TSYS, confirms Speaker of the House Paul Ryan visited TSYS Monday morning.

Mark Meredith, News 3's White House Correspondent says, “Speaker Ryan is in Columbus this afternoon to raise resources for GOP candidates on the ballot in 2018 and to tout House Republicans' legislative agenda. “

Additional sources tell WRBL Speaker Ryan and Congressman Drew Ferguson met with local business leaders at TSYS to discuss tax reform, likely the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. Ryan has been touring several cities across the country speaking on the GOP tax reform legislation that congress recently passed.

Mims says Speaker Ryan left shortly after 2 p.m.
