EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: TCSO arrests two people found in possession of $22,000 worth of cocaine

TROUP COUNTY, Ga (WRBL) - Troup County Sheriff's Office arrested two people found in possession of cocaine Monday afternoon.

Officials say, 62-year-old Earnest Murphy and the passenger, 70-year-old Tommy Holyfield, both of Selma, AL, were in possession of approximately 8 ounces of Cocaine.

Officials say, Lt. Nathan Taylor with the Troup County Sheriff's Office, stopped a red 2017 Honda Accord on Interstate 85 near mile marker 9 southbound for Following Too Closely.

Officials say the cocaine has a street value of approximately twenty-two thousand dollars.

Officials say Murphy and Holyfield were transported to the Troup County Jail where they were charged with Trafficking Cocaine and Murphy was also charged with Following Too Closely.
