AHSAA Playoffs: Auburn beats McGill-Toolen 10-5, Benda pitches gem

Auburn -- The Auburn High School baseball team kept its season alive by beating McGill-Toolen 10-5 in game three of AHSAA playoffs. In this first round matchup, Auburn lost game one 3-2 but then came back to win game two 3-2.

Pitcher Teddy Benda, who underwent Tommy John surgery his freshman year, got the win and came one out away from pitching a complete game.

The Tigers will face Theodore on the road next week in round two.
