Crimson Tide roll into NCAA Tournament

On Friday night, The Alabama Crimson Tide will be making their first NCAA Tournament appearance in six years when they take on Virginia Tech in Pittsburgh at 9:20 p.m. EST.

Head Coach Avery Johnson says 6-foot-9 junior forward Donta Hall is a game time decision after suffering a concussion in the SEC Tournament.

Hall is the team's second leading scorer and leading rebounder. News 3 spoke with CBS Sports Wally Szczerbiak on what Alabama can expect from Virginia Tech.

"They're going to make Alabama work. Alabama has an advantage as far as overall size and talent, but those guys on Virginia Tech are going to get after Alabama," Szczerbiak said. "Collin Sexton, if they want to win that game, he's got to show up big. The stars have to shine bright in the NCAA Tournament. He's got to carry his team and have a big time performance."
