Higher humidity and rain chance - WRBL

Higher humidity and rain chance

Updated:
Right now, the front that brought drier air to parts of Tampa Bay is lifting back to the north. "That means, higher humidity will return from south to north during the day," said Storm Team 8 Meteorologist Leigh Spann. It will feel a little more sticky outside. The extra moisture will lead to storms developing this afternoon.  "Most of the rain will be east of I-75," said Spann. The rain chance is 30%. It will be hot with highs in the low 90s.

The rain tapers off after sunset with lows in the mid 70s. "Saturday should feel like a typical August day with morning sunshine and a 40% chance of scattered afternoon storms," said Spann. Highs will be back in the low 90s.
