Storm Team 9 Forecast

Updated:
GREENVILLE, N.C. - Good, Good Friday to you! I'm Meteorologist Patrick Ellis with your STORM TEAM 9 FORECAST FOR EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA: Cool temperatures will take us into Good Friday. Plus, a good chance of rain looks to impact Easter weekend.

GOOD FRIDAY: We'll call it variably cloudy with cool temperatures for this time of the year. Highs will top out in the lower and middle 60s; breezes will be out of the N/NE through the day keeping things feeling cooler. Rain chances will stay minimal through the day, but will spike by Friday night.

TONIGHT: Mainly cloudy skies and rain showers turning more likely through the overnight. Lows will fall into the upper 40s and lower 50s with a brisk NE breeze at 10 - 15 mph.

EASTER WEEKEND:  Rain showers will be likely on Saturday. Temperatures may be a little cooler given the latest forecast guidance; we'll trend the temperatures into the mid-upper 50s with a brisk NE wind at 10 - 20 mph with higher gusts. Easter Sunday will be either a hit or a miss in terms of rain chances as an area of low pressure nearby keeps our weather unsettled; temperature will try to come back towards 60 degrees.

A LOOK AHEAD: Warmer days back to near normal will be on the way by next week!  For more weather details, check out Storm Team 9's Extended Forecast by CLICKING HERE.
