Dayne Young - WRBL

Dayne Young

Dayne is a sports anchor and reporter for WRBL. He started covering the Chattahoochee Valley in September 2012.

Based in Opelika, Dayne travels all around Georgia and Alabama to tell the stories of athletes all over the area.

Dayne was born and raised in Brewton, Ga., near Dublin. He is a 2011 graduate of the University of Georgia's Grady School of Journalism. He spent his first two years of college at Georgia Southern University.

Prior to joining the WRBL family, Dayne was a news reporter at WALB in Albany, Ga.

It has been a lifelong dream for him to cover SEC country, and he is having the time of his life doing it. Outside of work, Dayne loves talking about God, jamming to music and trying to make people smile.
