Have you ever wondered what it's like to be a champion? The Glenwood Gators know that feeling, especially after their parade of champions Thursday morning.
Glenwood's lower school lined the hallways to cheer on their champs. Then, team went to the gym where they were honored for all their hard work and rewarded for winning their second state title in six years.
"It feels really good," said Anthony Holtzclaw, MVP of the state championship game." But, it feels really good to be a state champion."
"There is no greater feeling than winning a state championship and having a championship caliber team," said Dusty Perdue, Glenwood boys basketball coach.
