Expect drier conditions but colder air will follow

By the time you are reading this, the bulk of the rain has lifted out of the region after leaving behind more added rainfall. Nearly a foot of rainfall recorded this month, making it the wettest February ever. We are transitioning into a drier and cooler than average forecast by the end of the week. No more rain forecasted for February, which means we are not looking to surpass the all time wettest month of 13.62" set back in the month of December of 2009.

Tuesday: Rain ending early then partly cloudy skies, with a passing sprinkle. High near 64. Southwest wind 15 to 25 mph, with gust to 30.

Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy and breezy, with a low around 40. West wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny and breezy, with a high near 63. West wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 39. West wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

Thursday: Mostly sunny and breezy at times, with a high near 56.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 35.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 53.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 33.

Saturday: Partly cloudy, with a high near 50.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 31.

Sunday: Partly cloudy, with a high near 52.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 32.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 56.
