A cold afternoon is on tap

Posted: Updated:

I hope you like wind! Gusts will be as high as 35 mph this afternoon and sustained winds between 15-25 mph. Couple that with temperatures in the upper 40s to low 50s this afternoon and it will feel much colder. Don't worry! Warmer temperatures move in for the weekend.

We'll stay mostly sunny to end the week and begin the weekend. Highs climb steadily from the low 60s tomorrow into the low 70s by Saturday. A bit more cloud cover will enter the picture Sunday ahead of our next cold front. It will bring a line of showers and thunderstorms through the region sometime Monday afternoon.
