Murder suspect spotted in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ga. -

A Tennessee man wanted for 1st and 2nd degree murder has been seen in Columbus.

Daniel Nesbit was developed as a suspect in the murder of Jenario Taylor in Memphis, Tenn. Taylor was in his residence on Clinchstone Circle, when 3 black males, two armed with guns, entered his residence and demanded cash money. Taylor was shot and later died from his injuries. Witnesses stated that the suspects fled the scene in a white Pontiac G6.

On August 7, 2012, the day of the murder, Nesbit was at another location in Shelby County. Witnesses say Nesbit went behind a bush at this address and came out with a long gun and opened fire, striking Curry Gorman in both legs. Nesbit fled the scene prior to police arrival.

Nesbit has been seen in the Columbus Area visiting at 1130 5th Avenue.
