One in three seniors in the U.S. dies with Alzheimer's disease

Posted: Updated:

A new report reveals one in three seniors in the U.S. dies with Alzheimer's disease or another form of dementia. From 2000 to 2010, Alzheimer's deaths rose 68 percent. Doctors say the increase is putting an enormous burden on the health care system and the estimated 15 million alzheimer caregivers. There is no cure and no way to stop the progression of the disease.
